Title	Director of Quality Assurance

Job Description:	The following is a list of responsibilities for the Director of QA: 1.Responsible for performance of the plant QA Manager and Specs/Label Coordinator. 2.Conduct training classes in respect to regulations, customer requirements, GMP's, etc. 3.Perform approximately 10 internal QA Audits per year, including customer requirements, USDA requirements, HACCP in- depth reviews, and animal welfare. 4.Act as a customer liaison with major national account customers. 5.Be involved in new product development (R & D) projects. 6.Serve as Animal Welfare program coordinator. 7.Perform audits in the hatcheries and feed mill. • 8 to 10 years minimum experience in quality control. • Extensive knowledge in the areas of HACCP plans, SSOP's, GMP's, FDA, OHSA and plant sanitation. • Must have poultry experience. • Food processing management background required.
