Title Grain Trader / Merchandiser
Salary Range: To $180,000

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Oversee grains trade in mainland China.

Must be experienced with cash origination, futures trading, hedging, domestic and international freight, arbitrage of cash and international futures markets and currency exchange.

Should be familiar with grain channels/markets and growing regions in China and Far East.

Those with existing book of business/contacts in the region will rise to the top of list.

Must be familiar with local and international regulations/law as they apply to grain trade, transportation, currency exchange.

Must be able to manage/train others and work well within a team environment.

Education:
Prefer Masters/MBA in business, finance, business agriculture.

May consider lesser degree with proper experience.

MUST be bi-lingual in English and Mandarin Chinese in both verbal and written.
Prefer tri-linguist to also include Japanese.

Experience:
5 - 10 years experience in domestic an international merchandising of small grains and feed grains to include, but not limited to, wheat, corn, soybeans, barley and other minor grains.

Territory Size:
Mainly NE China, Far East and Global

1 Yr. Min. Contract Required

Expenses:
To include housing assistance, family educational accommodations, relocation (if required), family travel to US or other once per year health/medical
