Job Description:	SUMMARY Minimum 5 years QA experience required in a USDA regulated facility and have an understanding of labeling, exports, cook and uncooked processes in a food processing facility. Experience with USDA, HAACP/SSOP/GMP is required. Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage department and production workers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following: COMPANY/ VENDOR AUDITS/ INSPECTIONS/ COMPLAINTS Obtain proper documentation from all vendors: Letters of Guarantee and MSDS sheets (as appropriate); Provide monthly inspection at vendor site and ensure a current Letters of Guarantee documentation and third party audit documentation are on file; Maintaining compliance and handle all non-compliance and deviation issues in a swift manner; PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS AND USAGE Knowledgeable of all products purchased, its usage and the ideal product condition; Knowledgeable of all product information used for product labeling; Manage and direct tests and procedures for new product runs. PRODUCT HANDLING/QUALITY AND RECALL Knowledgeable of proper handling of the products; Able to develop new policy and procedures to improved efficiency and quality; Collaborate with other department managers to ensure the enforcement of new procedures; Ensure all end-products meet DFC high quality standards. RECALL Knowledgeable of proper procedure on handling recalls Setup Recall Program and initiate regular testing to ensure the effectiveness of the Program. HACCP Knowledgeable of HACCP Guidelines Develop, implement and maintain the HACCP Program LIMITED relocation is provided for this position.
