Job Description:	Objective: The objective of this position is to develop and implement systems to ensure that company products meet specifications and to find ways to reduce costs. Focus will be on reducing the production of non-conforming products (increasing productivity) and developing quality metrics. The person in this position develops programs to ensure that food safety and quality checks are in place and are being effectively performed at each plant. All plant QA Managers report to this position. Responsibilities: Analyze and troubleshoot a wide array of problems relating to the quality infrastructure. Develop metrics to improve quality and reduce costs. Adapt Lean Manufacturing concepts within quality systems. Previous muti-plant experience from slaughter through further processed meats is preferred. Words of Wisdom "The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese."
