| Job Description: | The Position: This is a key role in the company and the reward package can be flexible to accommodate the right person. The time scale is immediate start, as the slaughterhouse is mid-construction now and they want this person to be involved in staff training, start up etc. Company doesn't expect to reach full current planned production until all the farms are completed. Initially the facility will do simple cut up, but they do plan further processing, thermal processing etc. in the future. Capacity is 180 pigs per processing hour, chilled meat. Equipment is Dutch ( MPS), Zanotti refrigeration from Italy, and a new rendering plant by Harslev of Denmark The Applicant: Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years suitable experience at a senior managerial level in a modern pork slaughterhouse with a minimum annual throughput of 10000 tonnes operating to European standards with modern equipment. Key demonstrable hands on managerial knowledge and working responsibility of animal reception, slaughter process, cut up ,storage, chilling, freezing, further process , packaging, distribution and cool chain logistics, staff management, recruitment and training and waste processing. The manager will be responsible for the whole complex to a P & L level reporting to the Divisional Director. Fluent English is a must and Russian a significant advantage though not essential. The post carries a substantial reward and motivation package including accommodations commensurate with the importance of the role and the experience of the person.
