Job Description:	Comments: USDA Facility - Must have USDA/Meat Quality Assurance background to be considered. Key role overseeing a department staff of 35+ with two direct reports (Food Safety Superintendent and Quality Superintendent). Responsible for implementing, maintaining and enforcing adherence to all protocols, systems and programs that ensure the highest possible quality standards in raw materials, finished products and within the manufacturing facility itself. This includes meeting the requirements of external auditors and government agencies as well as ensuring both internal and external customer concerns are addressed. Additionally, the position serves as a key liaison with regulators in food safety, specifications, regulatory compliance and HACCP. Must have Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or 7-10 years of experience in a USDA Meat Facility. Enjoy life - it has an expiration date!
